How Much Do Headshots Cost in London?

The short answer: our sessions are £350, £550 or £850, and team sessions start at £350 for up to four people. Those are the full prices — no sitting fee on top, no charge per image, no hidden extras.

What follows is what you actually get at each price, and what makes headshot pricing vary so much across London.

What's included at each price

Standard — £350

A focused one-hour session. Two outfit changes, a web gallery of every shot within 24 hours, and four retouched final images delivered in both colour and black and white.

This is the right choice if you want a strong LinkedIn photo, a company profile picture or a casting headshot, and you don't need hair and makeup.

Premium — £550

Three hours, including full professional hair and makeup with Callista Thomas before we shoot. Three outfit changes, studio or on location, and a mix of headshots and PR-style images. Web gallery within 24 hours, seven retouched finals in colour and black and white.

The extra time is the point. With three hours we can change the lighting, change the mood, and come away with a set of images that work in different places rather than one photo used everywhere.

Pro — £850

Up to four hours with full hair and makeup, five outfit changes, studio or on location, and a wide range of styles. Same-day web gallery, twelve retouched finals, priority three-working-day delivery.

Built for founders, public figures, speakers and anyone building a full visual identity rather than updating a single profile photo.

Team and company headshots

Team sessions are priced by headcount, starting at £350 for up to four people — and the per-person rate falls as the group grows, up to thirty people.

We come to your London office, use one lighting setup so every shot matches, and photograph six to eight people an hour. Hair and makeup is on hand for touch-ups. You get the full gallery within 24 hours and one retouched image per person.

New starters can come to the studio later, or we return at a reduced rate for returning clients once a few have built up, so your line-up stays consistent as the company grows.

What actually drives the price

Headshot prices in London vary enormously, and it's rarely about the photographer being "better" or "worse". It comes down to a few concrete things:

Time. An hour gets you one look done well. Three or four hours gets you several, with room to relax into it — which is usually what makes the difference between a photo you tolerate and one you like.

Hair and makeup. A professional artist on set is a real cost, and it is the single biggest change most people see in their own pictures. It's included in Premium and Pro.

How many finished images. A gallery of every frame is easy. Retouching is slow, careful work, and the number of finished files is often where cheap sessions get expensive — some studios charge per image after the first one.

Studio or on location. Coming to your office costs travel and setup time, but saves your team a day of going to and from a studio.

Turnaround. Standard delivery is quick here anyway. Priority delivery costs more because it jumps the queue.

Headcount. Group work gets cheaper per head, because the lighting setup is done once and the shooting is quick.

Why the cheapest session can cost the most

The pattern we see most often is someone who booked a £100 session, got one usable image, and came back a year later to do it properly. A headshot sits on your profile every day for two or three years. Working out the cost per day it's on display is a more useful sum than the sticker price.

That said, if all you need is one clean, current LinkedIn photo, the Standard session is all you need. More expensive isn't automatically more appropriate.

Extras

Additional retouched images from a session you've already shot can be ordered any time through the retouching orders page. Everything else — the studio, the lighting, the direction, the full gallery — is in the session price.
